Ganador is a locally grown and produced in Nueva Ecija. But it is already a hybrid rice classified as IR64 rice, which mean it is genetically mutated to produce a very good quality of grains in a specific environment/weather. IR64 is the most widely grown rice variety in the tropics like Philippines.
